Oh how exciting for you Sean, he is a beautiful boy, I love brindle dogs. I had two male dogs for many years and they were the very bestest of mates.

Hope it's lots of fun, I'm jealous, would love another boxer for Ruby to play with!!!

Looking forward to lots of photos

Nice one Sean, congrats and i hope it all works out well. He's certainly a handsome boy.

Having had a quick look on dogbreedinfo.com at both the english and french mastiff, i find it hard to believe that is his true breeding, but i'm far from any expert?

Thanks MMJ. I was a bit unsure aswell but after a some research i think its bloody close anyway. The white is what has me guessing. The lady who owned him described the mother as a purbred Dogue (french) . But maybe the English wasnt pure......that much white probably wouldnt come from the dogue i dont think.....so i'm guessing there's another breed involved or the dad wasn't pure English. A majority of the English mastiffs i see online are more of a fawn colour but my research showed they definently came in brindle aswell.
Its also the reason why i'm not even going to try and guess how big he'll get as the Douges are much smaller and compact compared to the huge English Mastiffs with thier massive heads.
As much as i'd love to know for sure...at the end of the day it dosnt really matter.

He's not intimidating. he's got a dolphin smile
He's gorgeous sean, and sounds like it will be a hit from first meeting with Mojo.

Nice name to Bronx, kinda suits the brindle.

Whilst every vet, book, trainer has advised me that 2 large dogs is a lot of hassle. If you have one rumbunctious male, you need something large enough to take the pounding rough play they so love! A tiny Cav, would get very bruised.
And apart from this pair, ive only ever kept males together.
    Never had issues.
Sure, we all are a tad squashed in cars, but you get that. Just learn to spit the hair out, and carry a cloth for the drewl lol

    What fun coming your way!
    enjoy.

Thanks Bernie. I'm really looking forward to it. I dont pick him up till tuesday now due to work commitments.....bugger...oh well.

Nev said he's been getting along well with some of the much smaller dogs at his place which was great to hear.

Already got the silly nicknames sorted.......Mojo's is WA, WA (gotta say it loud and silly...dont ask why..LOL) so Bronx is gunna be BO, BO......or somtimes ....Bronchitis !!!

Noosa was awsome, great weather.....lotsa hot chickies to perv on while doing the beach and Hasting street thing....lucky i took the sunglasses.
