I've used it and found it fine. Its also affordable as far as dog food prices go lol Its also availible in your supermarket

My youngest was fed Optimum canned and Advance dry as a pup and did quite well on it. Having it available at supermarkets makes it a bonus, I hate it when pet stores sell out of a special brand and you can't get it anywhere else... Going with an easy option is always best!

Now days mine all get Supercoat, another readily available brand, reasonable price and the dogs all do well on it.

I've got my 9 month old on Optimum Junior and boy oh boy does it make him fart! His poops stink and his farts are HORRID! For its price, it's good, but it all depends on how your dog's body reacts to it. I can't wait until I empty this bag so I can try another brand.

This thread is nearly 2 years old.

JS puppy hasn't been back since a month after their first post.

    So I'm closing it.

You can always donate unwanted dog food to a rescue organisation of your choice. I've done that.
