The thing is supposed to be fitted so the prongs are in contact with dog skin, and it looks like it is hanging loose around the dog's neck. So that's not going to work reliably for starters.

stop her welcoming people by jumping up at their cars
WTF? How does this dog get near anybody in a car?

And I would like to remind people that these things are not legal to use in most states of Australia.

Also correcting the behaviour is not a matter of just pushing the button and zapping the dog. You have to follow up with praise and reward for the right behaviour, and as with clicker training, if your timing is off, all you will do is confuse the dog and make it crazy.

How would you persuade your neighbours to sit still while you tightly strap two electrode prongs to their neck? I reckon two slabs of beer each would not be enough. I think an electric cattle prod or tasar might be more effective on your neighbours. Or just a well placed accident with a hot cup of tea.

And where would I source one of these from? Are you sure they work better then the previous posters 'toy'?
