Kelpie, How long has she been having breathing?

Iif shes having trouble breathing and in distress and the vets feel an op is dangerous or if your parents cant, or are not willing to help her, you need to ease her suffering one way or the other.
Sadly it seems that decision will be yours, you need to do the right thing by maggie.
Sorry you are in this position

Yes i'm afraid it might come to that, but i am hoping not. Poor girl she doesn't deserve this. She is such a good dog.

I have offered to pay to get a camera put down her throat to determine weather it's cancer or there is something wedged in her throat. I have the money so why not? Just to be sure. She could have another five years left in her.

Good on you, KL. And I hope it turns out to be something that can be treated fairly easily and cheaply. She looks very cute.

Good on you Kelpie, she sure does deserve to have someone like you who cares.
Doing a good turn, especially for someone or something less fortunate than yourself, has a way of paying you back 10 fold.

Well before i saw her and did something about it the step mum said she had been like that for months. Poor girl. We have her on anti biotics to ease the pain she had an epic sleep last night and didn't have much trouble breathing. When she wasnt on them she was waking up every 10-20 minutes because she was struggling so bad. She had a better sleep then me. Haha.

I am so sad for you and of course Maggie. It sounds as though you did what you could. Take heart in that. Maggie is now feeling no pain.
