Default Augustine Approved website is now live

    Thank you!

On behalf of Augustine and myself I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have been part of our journey. Every piece of feedback, advice and input has led us to this point and it is with great pride that we have launched our site which is dedicated to the health of all dogs. Thank you in advance for your patience while we iron out bugs and prepare our online store for launch.

The Vegan versions of our fresh organic food will be in health stores around Australia over the next few months and there are some very exciting new products in the final stages of development. Recipes and products are listed on our website, please contact us directly for purchasing information.

Please share the love, tell your friends about Augustine's Super Food and check out our first video!

Thats a lovely video. I have left a comment so that all my You tube subs and friends (most own dogs) can see it aswell. Good luck with the whole thing and i'll be sure to mention it to anyone who's interested or has dogs.
    Cheers.

    Hi Augustine

    You must be so excited.

So (for anyone else who wants to plug their stuff), as moderator I approve because you've been a positive contributor here for some time now and you're in Australia. Hopefully Puggerup will feel the same.

I don't speak for Morgan however. He might like some contribution to forum website upkeep in exchange for an ad or something but I will let you work that out between you.

By the way the web page looks lovely but it doesn't have scroll bars when I open it up - so I can't see or read the bottom of it. It is possible for the web code to turn them off, that's the only reason i can think they're not there.

You might want to check out the Alertbox website for tips on how to make websites ultra user friendly (what user test teams do) as opposed to very pretty (what Graphic Designers tend to do).

(his website is butt ugly but really easy to use).

Thanks everyone for their feedback we are overwhelmed with the responses so far.

newfsie thank you for your e-mail I am preparing something for you and will write back by tomorrow

Hyacinth apologies I should have asked it didn't occur to me. Thank you for your approval, happy to speak to Morgan if it is an issue.

That's really strange that you mention the scroll bar issue because we have tested it on many computers MAC & PC and the scroll bar is there. Feel free to add us to Facebook and I will gladly troubleshoot with you. www.facebook.com/augustinetheboxer

Does it need some code options enabled too? I've got IE8 and XP and some of the options are turned off. I can't download files with IE at the moment - well not bank tx files of csv thingies tho PDFs are usually fine. Might try it in firefox and see if that makes a difference.

Yup, it's just fine in firefox. Must be some javascript option I've turned off with IE.

Thanks for the feedback I wrote a request to our web designer to take a look at first thing Monday. I've heard of three cases like this now, one on an iPhone. Always some bugs, what can you do

The site is working fine for me in Chrome. I liked the video, and particularly interested in the vegan option! Good on you

Hey everyone, I checked with the web developers. Basically the website is optimised for the latest java / browser versions. This means that on a very small amount of web browsers these issues will appear. I apologise as the only thing that can really be done is a notice appearing on the screen asking viewers to update their java / browser. I believe this upgrade is a free download.

    Hope this helps
