Default one for you poop watchers

i know there are a few poo watchers here........ i am one of them

jonahs poop seems to be turing white very fast... (within a few hours), not to sure if this is good or not?

he seems to drop nuggets as opposed to logs.......

sorry im laughing as i type this........

his diet is dry kibble and a bone in the morning, then mince and chicken necks at night, usually with grated carrot, one a week he gets fish.....

any suggestions as to what i should be looking for when im scooping his poop everyday apart from where i step?

    cheers......

maybe cut down on the amoubt of bone or add some bran to his mince. sounds a little constipated? i add two heaped desert soons of oatbran to jacks mince and this seems to work

Nope nothing wrong with it at all.

Drying out, turning white and crumbling to dust is what dog poop should do but most dogs poop doesn't anymore because of their cr*p diets.

In relation to the other difference, I would add more fibre to his diet, some Veggies, ie: celery, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli. I would also add either a pro-biotic (human stuff is fine, just give a child amount) or a spoonful per meal of natural/organic yoghurt to his diet as well.

I am the world's biggest dog poop watcher (I have newfies LOL).........I often add some extra oil ( we use coconut) if I think the dogs poop is too dry and they may have to put in too much effort. if your dog has this sort of poop, they are highly unlikely to get anal gland problems.....i sometimes cut back my bones ( for a day or two) if i think they are too hard/dry. i feed bones according to poop....Most dogs have way too soft poop nowadays, I am with K&P.
Fatty meat can also make some changes...But like K&P I will add extra veggies/fruit.
