    Hi, your poor dog!
    Hope she's recovering well.

I have a feeling i know which 24- vet you're talking about. But we won't mention any names...
Look, emergency visits are more expensive- that's fair enough.
But to keep her for 6 days does not sound right to me
Also the cost of the pins sounds a bit odd too.
I've found that at least the 1st follow up appointment is usually at no charge.
It's alot of money. I would pay what's owed and find another vet.
You're welcome to PM me, i can recommend a good vet depending on where you live.

Your poor little dog, what a horrid thing to happen. Boy, that bill also sounds very high to me. Give your staffy x a big cuddle for me and hope she has a speedy recovery.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.

No it's not a ride - emergency clinics run at a higher operating cost and cost significantly more than normal clinics. The care is also generally significantly better and more individual for inpatients. I spent $3200 last week only to lose my boy after 36hrs of treatment

I hope your dog will get better soon.
My vet doesn't cost a lot, but I think 24 hour vets cost more.
My Vet cost around $45 for check ups.
