    Default Human Grade Kangaroo Meat/Mince

I am just wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase fresh human grade kangaroo meat/mince in Western Sydney?
I have called my local butchers but no one seems to sell it.

    Thanks!

Woolies normally sell it. Used to be dirt cheap but now it costs close to $10 a kilo.

I must have missed it in Woolies? I will have another look tomorrow, thanks.

$10 a kilo is pretty pricey but if it helps with my boys allergies (I noticed he seems to be scratching more since going back on beef after having chicken and rice for a few weeks due to him being sick) then it'll be worth it.

Well, I am assuming all Woollies stores would carry it. The ones here always have a section with kangaroo steak and mince.

Must be dearer in Sydney then. Roo mince is packed in South Australia. In Melbourne it is $7.85 per kg in Woolies/Safeway and Coles.

I just found some at Coles. I have checked there before but i remember that spot being empty (and no price tags) so I assumed they didn't sell it. It was $7.85 per kg for the roo mince but much more (I think double??) for the roo steaks.

Thanks everyone... I probably wouldn't have gone back there for a second look otherwise.

Wow expensive..My Hubby goes Roo shooting with his mates here & There and brings a few roos
back and that meat gets chucked in for our dogs. And they are often sitting on the property with
a dirty roo leg each... If you can find out if anyone in your area that goes shooting they may
get you some roos cheap.... Usually some young local shooters ...

Gosh meat is getting so expensive these days.
