I only have 1 dog so thought I could get away with 3 month intervals between treatments.. bad idea I found worms on one of my kids yesterday and had to treat the entire family..

Moral to the story.. dogs get worms for no apparent reason LOL worm them every 6 weeks atleast.

    Are you sure?
The worms we treat are for are internal worms.

Oh haha, yeah I remember when I was a kid, my sister got them it her butt too.
Have you been to the doctors?

NAh no doctor, there's only one way to get rid of them fast and that's with combantrin so I went straight to the chemist and got some LOL

I made everyone scrub under their nails and have showers etc and I will wait 7 days and change the bed sheets cause that's when they normally all crawl out to die after the treatment.

    So gross LOL

    Hhaha, oh ok.
My sister went to the doctors and got tablets.

    I feel sick right now.

That tablet would have been combantrin or something with the same ingredient.

I think I prefer dealing with thread worm than headlice though LOL Atleast it's easy to get rid of.. I've been battling nits for months.

*itches head and bum at the same time*

    Hahahaha.
I havent had knits for yeaaaaaarrrrs.
And dont have to deal with kids either!
So in my case, worms are the worst, especially ringworm!
We currently have a kitten in the isolation room with ringworm and we have to sanitize everything so many times and wear gloves and all the works.
So annoying. I feel like theres stuff crawling under my skin as soon as i leave the room!

Dogs do not have threadworm so it is impossible for your child to have 'caught' worms from the dog.

There are two types of worm, to my knowledge, that your children can be infected by that can come from the dog - roundworm and hookworm.

Children are at risk of threadworm from other children and adults who dont wash their hands regularly. Children can actually pass worm eggs to each other as they are not fastidiously clean little critters. '

Ringwrom isnt actually a worm either.

Where do thread worms come from then? I know it can be passed from lack of hand washing, but where do they originate from if not from dogs?

I'm a regular hand washer so she didn't get it off me LOL I don't have it.. I think she is the only who did get it, but I treated everyone JIC.
My daughter can be quite feral.. it's a fight to get her to shower
