    Default Stunted Growth

Is it possible for 2 bouts of pretty serious illness could stunt a dog's growth?

    What sort of illness?

If it was the sort that would make them malnourished, dehydrated etc then possibly.

she had a intestinal bug twice in 4 months, Vet had her on 3 different types of medication each time. She is 9 months now so still has some growing to do but knowing the size of her parents and litter mates (she was the smallest one) i feel she should be a bit bigger than she is, i realise she still has a fair bit of time to keep growing, i was just wondering if it would stunt her growth.

Definitely possible. Abbie is 9 months and quite short and skinny for a standard Pointer. I was talking to my vet about it after she had the op to remove her abscess and he said it is very common for illness to slow growth. Same as with humans i guess. They just have a little bit of catching up to do
