    I guess it eaier if the dog slows down rather than needs to be controlled and pulled back

    Well, as to the VET.... yr VET will know about the other VET. You cannot keep it from yr usual VET that yr dog was operated on somewhere else anyway. I cannot imagine that yr VET would not assist you the same professional way they would have in the first place. Don't beat yourself up.

    Thanks for the update.

    Remember to keep her quiet - no running and jumping in excitment and short walks only for about 10 to 14 days after. So the insides have time to heal up properly.
