    Default Black Hawk Kibble

Curious if anyone feeds or has tried Black Hawk Holistic Dog food??

I came across the name on the dolforums and did some research. The ingredient list seems to be much the same as Eagle Pack Holistic lamb and oatmeal (which is what i currently feed Buckley). Going to pick up a 20kg bag of this tonight, figure i can't go wrong paying $90 for it...since i happily fork out $70 for a 7kg bag of eagle pack!!

Yes, I tried it on my lot a few months back and they loved it.

Problem is that it is not that readily available - I have to arrange a delivery.

Buying premium dogfood is much more convenient to buy.

I used to buy Eagle Pack but every time I ran out, what I wanted was always the one the produce merchant didn't have at the time so I had to wait while it was ordered in.

That went the same way I am afraid!!!

I am finding that Advance Puppy or Royal Canin is really working for my lot these days plus I also use Hills Sensitive Stomach for my old girl.

Other than that I use BARF & raw chicken necks.

My two have been on black hawk for just over a month now. They love it and both look great. I went by the feeding guidelines and was giving 2 cups a day..had to increase this for Abbie as she was looking quite thin. Only other little problem i have it the size of the kibble. My boy swallows them whole because they are so tiny. Other than that, all good and my supplier is just down the road. It's a shame you had trouble getting some in your area! I had problems finding eagle pack, hence why i switched to black hawk.
