Thread: Scariest Object Your Dog Has Ever Thrown Up or Pooped?!!

  1. #1

Question Scariest Object Your Dog Has Ever Thrown Up or Pooped?!!

I was horrified (and amazed) that my dog this morning threw up a piece of metal designed for attaching wood together - that is, one of those little metal plates with super-sharp spikes pointing out perpendicular from it .

I am flabbergasted that she would consider this worth ingesting - What was she thinking ?!! - at the same time as relieved that her system was able to reject it before it caused major trouble. And to think that I was previously worried about finding a poo that consisted of 90% string from a rope toy...

What horrors have your pooches thrown up (or pooped) without apparent ill effects?

Rocks and pebbles, bark, sticks, leaves.... he usually swallows things though and I don't see them again.

Psst - your sig gives what I thought was a website without a hyperlink. I have googled but nothing comes up?

What is "Lost & Found Dogs Online"

Mischa has pooped out a hair elastic before... I was mortified! That could easily have gotten stuck in her intestines and cut off circulation somewhere. The others don't eat much that isn't food.

We have had some glittery poop here from foil choccie wrappers. Silly dogs eat the foil and leave the chocolate!

    where do i start,

a 30 cm strand from a rope toy (i had to assist her to finish that one as she was quiet distressed when she couldnt snap it) ewww memories

    string from carpet

    fluff from bedding

    rocks, sticks

a squash ball (bright yellow - in pieces)

    shoe laces

thats all i can think of right now,

    thankyou harley and lily

i came from just owning tessa who doesnt have a destructive bone in her body. i have now learnt that anything is edible and now there is nothing left to temp them, except when they decide they can smash down our temp fence to the veranda or if the neighbours kids loose something over the fence.

Anne, I think a moderator has today decided to remove the web link, and in doing so also removed the name of the web site! I'm not sure why; it's a free/charity site and doesn't seem to be against any rules...

Anyway, the sig should read "Who's Ya Doggy?" and the link is Lost & Found Dogs - free online service | Who's Ya Doggy

If you had permission to have a link in your siggy, this could be modified.

Thanks. I can't understand why it was removed?

I didn't realise you needed permission to have a link in your sig Di???

I think so, maybe check the rules. So many spammers come in with links to sites in their posts and sigs.

In other forums I am on links are fine for legitimate places as long as ok'd by admin.
