Thread: VIP Petfoods/Protadog,Possible Choking Hazard..

  1. #1

    Default VIP Petfoods/Protadog,Possible Choking Hazard..

My Protadog dog roll came with free cling wrap mixed inside of it,
Got in contact with the hotline which ended up being VIP NZ who then passed me onto VIP AUS.

Who couldnt be bothered doing anything about this problem.

Puting this out there so anyone who purchases this or any of their
products can be wary of it.

well if I bought that, i would never buy it again. I am glad your dog/s are OK.
I think they should have made more effort when they were contacted by you.
Maybe you should cross post it on Dogzonline........

Thanks for letting us know, I used to feed this product as well until recently when I assumed they would only include quality ingredients and I pulled several large feathers out of the roll.

    Yeah i've since changed products.

I was very disapointed with their attitude to this problem, but at the end of the day they are an international company with a bottom line of making money,i can hardly see them caring if they did contribute to the injury/death of someones loved one/s.

Im not a member of any other animal forums but im all for posting a link to this thread if any one wants too.

I was just going to forget about this problem but i thought i would like to know if there was a hazard with something i was feeding to my dogs,so best to let others know too.

I used to purchase this brand, too. Too often the product was rotten upon opening. My complaints also went unheeded. Keep spreading the word!

I switch food for my dogs quite regularly but that is what is currently in my fridge from a quick grocery shop the other day...

Might think twice about that the next time

I haven't had any problems with the rolls I have brought. But I do cut mine up into small squares for my dogs.
