    Default Twitching Paw

I've just had James down at the park and rightt before we left he started sort of jerking his left paw. He's stopped the twitching now and it doesn't hurt him to walk on, but he's still chewing on it every so often. I've gone over the paw and he seems to be a bit more bitey when I go between his middle toes. Can't find any lumps or anything.

I'm thinking ant bite, but am unsure. Does it sound like an ant bite? Or something worse?

To be honest I am not sure.

What was the last thing you saw him doing before you left?

I would guess it was a bite from something at the park. Could have been anything, bee, wasp, but yeah, definately could have been a bullant or something. They hurt! And sting, and cause one to twitch and shake the bitten area. If it was, you might notice some tenderness, even a bit of swelling in the area.

If it's a bite, it should recover of it's own accord.

Mmm, he's fine now. I'm thinking it must have been a simple ant bite or something. Although he gets bitten all the time by some nasty blighters on the front lawn and doesn't do much except try and get them off him. Hence, had an initial momentary panic that it might be a tick or something that I couldn't see. Good to have a place to vent potentially irrational fears

    Thanks guys.
