I also call them bottom burps, for the same reason you do Amy, it's a bit nicer for the kids to say!!

I must admit my dogs don't let rip all that often, but when they do, it's like they have saved all the smell up and it is gross!!! The cat on the other hand............

Well, I know Ralph can have really loud "Bottom Burps" or sometimes it is the "Silent but Deadly".
Prefer the loud ones, at least we get warning.
As humans do, dogs get them for no apparent reason!

I am not usually a great botty burper but ohhhhhhhh, with chemo, the first few days after each one there are some real rippers. Watching hubbys face at times has been wonderful. Revenge is so sweet. It is a pity now that it is over.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

Been laughing my way thru this thread.

If Gemma is sitting on hard flooring you can hear her. She looks at her rear as though to say WTF? that came from me. Fortunately she all noise no smell.

However when Kelsey was in whelp she cleared the room on such a regular basis I was actually concerned.
