No, it was good to bump it. It prompted me to finally pay for my Phuds order (had to do close the sale via email as their online check-out wouldn't calculate postage for ACT).

I've been feeding Banjo pet mince and dry food for the past couple of weeks. And she seems to far a lot less now too. I feed Optimum as dry food now. But might switch to something better when I finally manage to get to the pet store.

My dog is going on Black Hawk Holistic lamb and rice when the nutro runs out (or as it runs out - cos it's good to swap new stuff in gradually not all at once).

It's like Artemis or Eagle Pack except it's made in Australia (eg Victoria). Since I was in Victoria recently - I asked around, found a supplier and bought a pack - approximately $30 cheaper than Nutro for $5kg more. Eg $75 for 20kg. Fantastic. Super fresh (long useby date for kibble).

For the wet stuff - I make my own. Can't quite cope with what is written on the tins of dog food including that science stuff. Made a vet nurse read the ingredients on the can she was recommending I feed instead of boiled chicken and rice for puppy with upset tummy (caused by incompatible dog food). Vet nurse learned something new that day.

And that is if they list all the ingredients...

Well my new puppy (a ridgeback x doberman) is now on advance puppy + diced turkey + natural food mix - chicken, lamb, vegetables and rice + a chicken wing or drumstick every day, an egg every 2nd day and she is looking fantastic. Realised the other day that I am spending scary amounts of money on feeding just 2 dogs each week but gosh my dogs look good lol. Lots of energy, clean breath, shiny coats white teeth, firm, hard stools and no doggy odour Congrats on your new dobe puppy

royal canin or vets all natural is the only things I bother with. Canned food is junk, it's not worth the label it's printed on frankly and dogs need fresh raw meaty bones.

    what did the breeder reccomend?
