    Default Best Dog Food?

Please can everyone let me know what kibble brand they feed their dogs?
I want to know the very best and were to buy it from?
Please dont tell me to raw feed as I dont trust I can do this properly giving banjo all the nutrients he needs.

Thank you would love to hear the aussie premium food options we have

I feed raw Jazz and appreciate your honesty.

Throughout the years I have come to the conclusion however that ProPlan is an excellent dried food, available from most pet stores. I have also heard terrific raves about the ProPlan Select range. Cheers.

EaglePack Holistic Select...doesn't contain by-product and other "nasties"

Bear in mind Jazz that whats works well for some dogs may not work well for others.

I know of breeders who use a kibble called Great Barko. Makes me shudder, but hey it works for them and their dogs love it.
Judge it from your dog's reaction, health and desire to eat it etc...

I use Innova Holistic & EVO. Batty adores it and wolfs it down. He's a hard dog to keep weight on though so this may be too high in protein.

To be honest I would be leaving Banjo's food as is for the moment and allowing him to finish settling in, then worry about changing his diet.

I like Pro Plan Active and also the sensitive skin and stomach one with salmon.

Depending on the activity level of your dog as to which one.

I did Eaglepack for a while but the extra cost made no difference to my dogs.

Active will stack on weight of a mature dog if it's inclined to be lazy.

I add meat to this about every second day and they have one day a week where they get pegged out with a brisket bone each for dinner.

The best food is the one your dogs do great on, email a few companies and ask fro samples to try

I use Supercoat Puppy. It might not be the best but it works for us. Its what Poppy was bought up on and so it was an easy choice.

I know others who have had problems with Supercoat but we like it!

ETA: I feed raw chicken mince with the dry food at dinner and throw in a raw egg once a week too!

I don't know what "chemical/artificial" dry dog food is best as i refuse to feed it to my dogs.

It might not be your intention AF but these types of comments are (IMO) what make newbies feel unwelcome.

If you don't know, don't reply. Simple!
