    Default Doggy First Aid Box

What do you keep in a first aid box for your dog?

I have betadine, pure iodine, cotton wool, peroxide, bandages, fly repellent. But I am not sure what else to keep on hand. What are some stuff that can be kept on hand, long-term? Oh worm tabs and flea control are two more. What else?

I have been told Cetrigen & pink eye powder are really good for wounds. What do you think? I don't like buying stuff to find out it is rubbish.

I have saline, chloromide spray, tetramycin (pink eye powder), bandages, butterfly stitches, make up remover pads, cotton wool, iodine, betadine, zink cream and a fly repellant/antiseptic cream for fly bites.

Personally I think the chloromide spray is brilliant and has probably saved me plenty in vet bills expect it turns everything pink LOL. I pay about $12 for a big pump bottle and $7 for a small pump bottle at my local fodder store.

I also have most of what Judge has, but I also have Savlon cream and Scourban as well - but I have a young pup and the scourban is because he gets an upset tummy very frequently

Ah, don't forget to throw in a couple of sealed syringes. Very handy.

Pretty much the same as everyone else; bandages, gauze dressing, tweezers, Noroclav tablets, good old paw paw cream, large plastic syringes for flushing, little battery operated clippers, round nose scissors, tape, floss, I think that's the regular stuff.
