i am not getting much sleep again because Joey has decided to be sick again got a couple hours sleep because a lovely friend offered to stay the night so we could sit with him in shifts, but when he got sick he tried to come looking for me so I'll sit with him until he is asleep again....it's going to be a long night. Sometimes I think dogs can be more work than kids lol

I hope he gets back to normal soon. Yes dogs are like children.....but they don't talk back, break into houses or steal cars!! lol

wonderful news woke up about an hour ago, after being up until 7am, to find Joey and my friend playing in the lounge, she tried to keep him quiet but Joey just seems to be full of energy and it's like he's back to normal. He has stopped playing now and is sleeping, but I think it's a good think he also ate a proper meal without being sick. I'm so happy I could cry

Oh that is fantastic news! Yes, try to keep him quiet for a couple of days, his little body needs to rest, and bland food too.

So happy to read your post, give Joey a cuddle from me. xx

Oh he is getting lots of cuddles I will make sure to add 1 in from you as soon as he wakes up. He is having very bland food just steamed chicken and rice he is loving all the attention. The vet couldn't believe today how he has bounced back. He was a little sick today but definatly heaps better than he was.

UPDATE: Joey has been ok...vets have now found the cause of all his discomfort, we have found out that he is suffering from stomach ulcers and they are bleeding into his stomach at times he is now on medication and we will see how he goes. The vet believes it is because he had such a poor diet at his previous home, we are hopeful that this medication helps and he doesn't have to go through another episode like this. My grandparents have also ripped the plant out that he nibbled on so that can't happen again.

I am so happy they have found the cause of his problems and glad he can be treated accordingly!
