Well, I took my dog to the vet, and they put him in quarantine. He has Parvo They said they have had five dogs come in with it in the past week and they had all been fully vaccinated just like my dog. I hope he doesn't die

Parvo is a tough disease! Thankfully he is not a tiny puppy and will hopefully have a bigger chance of surviving!

Oh Rachel, I'm sooo sorry to hear this!

I hope because he HAS been vaccinated he will not be a fatal case and will make it through this okay.

Thoughts are with you, hold in there.

    Hey Girls...

I read months ago an article in my local newspaper -an article written by a local Vet about parvo.

I read that the "parvo virus" is more rampant / active during or after a rainy days etc as the virus is still active & alive even in water & that it can be carried thro water gutters, run off's, creeks, parks etc etc.

So i now avoid walking Floyd out doors for a couple of days after heavy rains etc.

Hope i explained it ok & it's understandable to all...
