Yes I think it might, it also means I'm going to end up with very slobbery hands trying to look at his mouth

I just hope to dog that what ever the fight was over has passed. The only time I;ve ever seen Griffen get snarly at Madeline is if there's a bone around.
I found a small nob of bone from tuesday night (MIL fed them bones while we were away for the night, luckely she called just after she did it so we could tell her to seperate them immidently) under the stairs where the fight happened so I'm hoping that was the cause and now it's gone he'll be fine.

Usually betadine here, I do have bates's salve too, if your dogs fanged himself the bruising will be worse than the hole and they heal reasonably fast.
Was it top or bottom lip?
I can give you a couple methods to help in the future if your dog ever fangs himself again if you want, alot easier and faster than trying to roll and stretch the lips back over the tooth.

You need a pen or pencil on hand for it though.

It was the bottem lip. It's healed really well, unless you looked hard you wouldn't know he'd done anything.

Thanks, fingers crossed he wont do it again but I'd love to know an easyer way to fix it
