Question Scaly/Rough Skin on Greyhounds Sternum

One of my latest foster greys has a patch of skin around her sternum area which looks like it's from constantly lying on concrete or hard ground, I've only had her a short while, and I've been applying sorbolene to try to soften it, also Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment. I've never seen it on any other greys I've had, as they don't tend to lie flat due to their body shape. It doesn't hurt her or seem to bother her, but it just doesn't look very attractive!

Anyone have any other ideas on what might help? Apart from time - she's adapted to the sofas very well so I doubt it will get any worse!

    Thanks in advance!

You are already using what I would suggest - paw paw ointment. Maybe increase her intake of essential oils for the meanwhile which aids in skin repair.

I'm also a great believer in papaw ointment. How wonderful to foster greys....beautiful dogs.
The more people I meet, the more I like my dogs.
