Unhappy Griffys feeling sore and sorry for himself

It looks like Griffens been having a little too much fun in his new back yard.

OH noticed yesterday he wasn't himself, he yelped when he got up and was shaking all over. (I wasn't home a the time)
He took him to a vet (one we hadn't seen before) who poked and prodded and said there was nothing wrong. She gave Griffen some pain killers and sent him home.

He was in so much pain this morning he screamed when he tried to go up the stairs to come inside so we took him to see our usual vet.

Turns out he's pulled a muscle in his lower back He's on anti inflamitorys for 10days

It's a good thing we love him so much, he's just cost us our new clothes dryer and Fridge

Im sorry to hear your boy is in pain, I hope the pain killers give him some sort of relief!

Yes he is very lucky to have you but at the end of the day (as much as we need dry clothes and a cold fridge lol ) I think he will reward you in more ways than a clothes dryer or fridge EVER COULD

Thats true, snuggling with a dryer just isn't the same as with Griffen

Ruddy vet pokes and prods, says nothing wrong but gives Griffen painkillers anyway. priceless. That would really p*** me off!

So glad to hear that your usual vet found his injury. You don't know an acupuncturist, by any chance?

Awww, poor little Griffey. Hope he has a speedy recovery. Those vets and their meds sure are expensive but our furkids are worth it.

DA - no I dont know any acupuncturists. We're going to give him a few days to rest to see how it goes, luckley it's easy to keep him quiet. If it doesn't look like he's getting any better then we'll look into alternatives.

Thanks Dogsrule. He's cost me alot in his 3 short years but he's worth every cent, I was just so glad to hear it was only a muscle strain and not his hips or joints.

    Poor big boofer.
The first vet sounds like a tool.
