    Riley

Took a while to persuade google to give up the info on the USA subway....

They sell flat bread pizzas - and I think the smallest sub would probably be a foot long - and maybe deep fried if you didn't ask them not to...

personally I don't rate subway as food but I will eat it if there is nothing else. Which is better than KFC or Maccas - which I won't eat at all no way. Well maybe if I really want to be sick.

I was thinking along the lines of this link for 'Kristy.Maree' – particularly the veggies choice – as she had been saying that she is missing (?) salads !

    SUBWAY

It’s not just the Yanks - but we are also getting there ! 'Hyacinth' - how about this for ‘din dins’ ?

We actually haven't seen any subways around! They do have 'donut subway' though where you start with a blank donut and tell them what toppings you want

We are in Vancouver, Canada at the moment it's absolutely gorgeous and the food is amazing - I actually had salad last night that wasn't covered in dressing and then chicken that wasn't deep fried!

We had a big day hiking around the snow and exploring the suspension bridges today so off to have another nice dinner and a few cocktails!

    Happy Easter everyone!

Bugger.. Will try the pics again!

We're so excited to have maple syrup pancakes for breakfast tomorrow Sean! My partner had a maple bacon bourbon last night, not to sure how I feel about that

Canada is amazing, everyone is so friendly! When we left our hotel this morning we were greeted by a stranger saying "good morning! Have a wonderful day eh" rather than us being abused like in America! I wish we had longer than 5 days here!

(By the way, my extra spicy korma for dinner was delicious)

Oh Riley, there is a Boston pizza right next to our hotel! Lucky we're flying back to LA in 1hr
There is also a beautiful Dog park right outside our hotel window, I've spent all day packing and watching the dogs run around and play!

Hope this link works - my sister sent me a video of roxy.. Gekos have always been her favourite thing to chase and it seems as though they're giving her the motivation to try and stand. When I last saw her (29th March) she couldn't sit up, lift her head, move her legs, nothing. All she could do was lay on her side and move her eyes. Apparently she's now barking too! Baby steps but hopefully she will get there

    The link works fine.

I know she isn't up and about or anything like that but it's great to see her looking so alert. She doesn't look depressed at all which is fantastic. I really hope she can make a full recovery the beautiful girl.

    Thanks!

I spoke to mum after I posted and apparently the physio thinks she will be walking in another 6 weeks. I'm hopeful but doubtful.. Hopefully at least her front legs work again and then they can get her one of those doggy wheelchairs!

She's definitely still fully alert which is why it was so hard to consider putting her to sleep. She is still so happy! Apparently she still LOVES to play tug-o-war, it's always been her favourite game so that's a positive that she is still wanting to play
