Has there been a change in cleaning products in your place ? Washing detergent for dishes and clothes and pup stuff ?

    Just asking !

I appreciate your posts Riley, but unfortunately there is nothing I can identify that has changed ... unless maybe it's an environmental thing with spring here and all???

mymatejack, indeed, it could be the weather causing it.

Hotspots are a common malady in my breed so I feed a grain-free raw diet and that seems to clear it up most times, but I doubt in your case that food is the cause, unless he has developed an intolerance.

Nothing has changed in Mojo's diet either. I suspecting the weather/heat at the moment.

The watered down a little listerine seems to be working a treat. It's dried up the area and it seems to be healing well. He's got another spot coming up on his cheek so hopefully it'll work on that aswell.

Listerine has enough alcohol in it to keep a homeless person happy (and smelling better than usual).

It is essentially a disinfectant. Not too toxic but they don't recommend swallowing it.

The one on the side of Brock's face has cleared up nicely and hair is growing back. The one on top of his head is dry and healed but just has that look that if i cease dunking him in salt water daily it will probably break out again

That also is excellent news ! Way to go - Mojo !

What strength do you use and how often did you apply it ? You said that you watered down the listerine !
