'Sean' - I would still contact them - they need to know that something like this happened to one of their pups - maybe they can offer some advice and reasons why this may have happened. You are not having a go at them - just giving them information.

So you didn't get him de-sexed at 6 months - that is really no biggie - just say you wanted him to finish growing first - on advice you had received. You don't intend to breed with him - so all is good !

Yes - with the symptoms Mojo is showing - sounds like an infection tied in with an enlarged prostate. So yes - as the vet said - you will probably have to de-sex him sooner rather than later. But you need to get rid of the infection first.

Heaps of for you all and I really hope the vet visit on Thursday is not too traumatic for the hunk !

The fact that the amount of blood he's passing is reducing from visible to only visible on a urine test stick says to me that it's not his kidneys .... that is a massive plus.

Good luck to you and your giant pug Sean

Thanks heaps guys...i'm so happy you guys care so much about my big goof.

Your right MMJ. The fact we could only see blood from the test had to be a good thing. I just dont like counting my chickens before they hatch if ya know what i mean mate.

I'm not to sure why but he's been extra sooky the last few days.......like he knows i'm worried about him. He comes over and just puts his face right up to mine and stares at me for ages while i rub his ears. Then he buries his face in my belly for extra cuddles LOL. The big sooky bubba.

Sick or not he didnt get much sympathy from my wife when he jumped on the bed while we where sleeping in yesterday and had muddy paws after my daughter let him outside for a toilet break. It was a hell of a way to wake up....with a hypo ,muddy Bullmastiff going crazy on top of me LOL. Bloody dag he is......i couldnt curse him though...hes my sick widdle baby and just wanted daddy to wake up for some puppy loving !!!!

He seems like his normal old self. Jumped up on me when i got home and is now play fighting with Bo Bo's in the backyard. I'm pretty sure hes forgotten all about his vet visit tomorrow. My wife will drop him off in the morning and then i'll pick him up in the afternoon (a bit groggy no doubt)...as long as everything goes well. Fingers and paws crossed !!
