Oh Kass i am so sorry that your parents wont listen to you! It must be so hard for you, you are in a very difficult situation!
Perhaps when you try to talk to your parents about it next you could explain to them that a lump doesn't have to make an animal feel pain or sickness straight away for there to be a problem. My ferret had a cancer tumour and she was as happy as larry for 4 months even though the tumour continued to grow to the point where it was almost too large to remove. I am not trying to scare you, and i most certainly hope i haven't. But i just thought that might be something that might get through to your parents if you were to explain that to them.
Stay strong Kass! and i wish you all the best for Christmas tomorrow and the new year coming up!

Why doesn't she want to take her to the vet? is she worried about the bill or is it the hassle of taking her there?

Some vets do house calls. Especially in rural areas. Kaz / Ruby McNuggett could call them herself - send them an email of the picture and the vet would come and fix it, and Kaz could pay by installments.

Her mum would be mad but I really don't like the way her mum avoids getting the vet for animals that really need it. That's cruelty to animals - plain and simple - and that's something the RSPCA can do something about. It's also cruelty to children - ie putting Kaz through this is just nasty.

That is really good news !

Were you able to work out what caused it or how it happened ?

Regardless - I am really pleased for you and your special pup !
