I persisted with Advance when Maxi was a puppy for about six months, just because I didn't know any better and yes he had quite a few sloppy ones, but most of the time he was just spitting up whole biscuits. Then I changed him over to Royal canin he did okay on this but then he started spitting up whole biscuits again, haven't tried any other dry food with him to date...there is a dealer who sells Canidide (holistic) which did get a good rating on dog food 101, might give that a go one day.

At the moment he is going great guns on this Healthy Hounds chicken mix... Might keep him on this for awhile and the best thing he smells like nothing and his coat is shinny as. Just got to keep an eye on his teeth.

Can dogs eat too much carrot, you know how humans can turn orange if the drink too much carrot juice?

Erm - I don't know about the carrot. All things in moderation. It is possible to drink too much water in a given time frame. so possible same probem with carrot.

I didn't know about the whole human going yellow/orange. Definitely your pee can change colour and smell depending what you eat. A lot of vegans can go an interesting shade of yellow - but that's more from an unbalanced diet than too much carrot (or pumpkin or sweet potato). Usually they're not getting enough iron and protein (steak).

Well everything is going well for the Boy, we have had no dramas both ends. Just waiting for a button to pass through (he got hold of my daughters hat and chewed the button thing off the top of it...) So now we are mashing poo's.

My Maxi is fun and games...To look at him you would think he was the picture of innocence NOT... We love him heaps despite his mischief making

He hasn't been round here? One of my trouser back pocket buttons is missing - though I suspect - my washing machine ate it.

Well everything is going good with the boy... Except for a couple of weeks ago but we are back on track now. He ate something at my sisters that didn't agree with him, Have no idea what it was, he was staying there for a couple of nights while I attended a work function.

He has a really sensitive gut... Up chucking lasted approximately three days, he is such a vacuum whenever at my sisters even his best friend the cat can't distract him from finding something non digestible to have a go at. Hence now we have to spend time on the lead or on my lap when we go there for visits.
