    Default double teeth

I've noticed that Dex appears to have 2 sets of canines. I'm not 100% certain, but I'm reasonably sure he lost his first puppy canines. I remember freaking out that I saw blood on his toy and realised they'd fallen out. Then a new set grew, and since then another much bigger, thicker set have started to come through. I didn't think too much of it, I have no idea what dog teeth are supposed to be like and I assumed if it was the big adult ones coming through they'd push out the other ones, but it's been a few months now and they're both still there. I did a bit of googling and discovered that they're not generally supposed to be like this and sometimes they'll still fall out after a while. Is this something I need to get onto asap and have them removed, or is it a wait and see kind of thing? I noticed he's getting a little bit of build up between them, should I just try and gently remove that with an old soft tooth brush? His teeth all seem to fit together ok, I don't think they're overlapping the bottom teeth as they are, but the back canines are a lot thinner and pointier than the front ones and quite sharp.

    Here's a pic:

Misha had one retained puppy tooth which the vet removed. How old is Dex?

He has retained baby canine teeth - and they will need to be extracted. At 7.5 months they should be out already.

thats a retained baby tooth, go get it removed or give him a couple of days of nothing but big raw bones with meat on them to dislodge the sucker. Cheaper then the vet doing it
