Katy would hate a heated pool. She loves mid-winter swims. The colder the better. We put on our wetsuits, because the lake is too cold for us in Rescue work in Winter, but she loves it

Maxi get the shivers up even in summer if a breeze blows... No shivers today but. Im also a cold frog so I guess we make a good pair might have to invest in a couple of wetsuits LOL... Can I ask what is involved in rescue work or point me in the right direction for info?

A place in Woodford here is their website Glemaray Petspa: Welcome. You can get yearly membership one on one sessions then cheaper. An older couple owned and operated Golden Retriver Breeders. Absolutely beautiful people and the dog knowledge is great well Ray was able to tell Maxi leg issues just by touch, told me exactly what my vet told me about Maxi x-ray, you just know they love and want dogs to be healthy and happy in life.

It's pretty full on to watch first session (maxi had a get me out of here look) but Ray just knew when it was time to rest and was happy to go back to Ray and give him kisses. Second session more comfortable in water. We have another session today then two days break and back on Friday then ray will let me know if anymore sessions needed or we can have play sessions.

Lucky Lady I'm sure they help with the water confidence thing, they have life jackets and Ray is right there with them all the time. Maxi more confident with life jacket but he's not there to play yet, hoping this will be soon. I think they will be having an open day in September if you like I could post info about this day here when I know more.
