    Question Shedding

I have no experience with this topic as Ziggy is the first dog we have that sheds. Usually, her shedding isn't bad. It was pretty bad for a couple of weeks when she changed from summer to winter coat but ATM it is crazy She is changing from winter to summer coat (I think) and she is loosing hair in crazy amounts! I brush her daily and and there is so much hair coming out every day, I have no idea where it comes from. Yesterday she had a bath and her hair blocked the drain... It's been going on for three or four weeks now and I am wondering whether it is normal to take that long? Also Ziggy has short hair but with an undercoat and I am using one of these rubber brushes. So far they worked quiet well but maybe there is something better out there?

For a Pug it is normal for them to shed all year round............................

    Buy a zoom groom brush.

    Me too Hippo!
Lolas hair is driving me crazy! Even though i try to brush her every day, my floors, car and clothes are covered in white hair. I gave her a bath today and she too blocked the drain.
I'm using one of those rubber brushes too. It works, but I'm sure there's something better out there.

    Anne,
    What's a zoom groom brush?

Luckily neither of my dogs malt that much.
You cant even notice when it happens.
But im feeling it with my horse Wiley.
    I hate it.
I brushed him for half an hour yesterday and it was still coming, i had to give up.

Sounds like your place looks like ours only that the hair here is black (luckily I am wearing mainly black...). Did you have that problem with Lola all the time or is just at the moment? Like I said, Ziggy wasn't shedding much until 4 weeks ago... I hope it is "just" the change to her summer coat..

Lola always drops a bit of hair, but not like in the last few weeks.
There's no way I'm wearing all white

I use a serated stripper & it's the best thing I've found to get the hair out, but I have Sheppies, so it might not be suitable for the doggies with shorter coats.

I just gave Lola another brush, i think that the rubber teeth are too far apart.

we use a furminator on our our boys and they love it but would not think it is probably suitable for your dog though, they love the thick undercoat being removed as normal brushing(every day) just doesn't do it for them. they just lay there when I bring it out and then have piles of hair from them both to dispose of. Better than having it on everything...Luv the boys
