I am going to make this thread and post a bunch of resources for people interested in feeding raw. I am not pushing it, but thought it would be nice to have here in case someone wants to start.

We use mostly raw food, our dogs do better on it than on dry alone

I feed prey model (franken prey). I feel mine doesnt need veggies. But BARF or prey model is still better then any kibble IMO.

Just a question....if you feed prey, do you feed gut. I don't do prey and feel i need the veg and grain to replace what was in the stomach/gut. i do feed offal and such and the occasional whole rabbit. But they are too hard to get reliably and know that they are "clean"

We feed veg slops once every 6-7 days. They have a good source of vitamins.

I feed mostly raw but do add veg at times & dogs do have dry bits if they want them, some do & some don't. I kill sheep & get beef & venison from family so raw is cheapest also for me. I also add eggs, chia, oil depending on idividual dog.

hi, i feed mostly raw which consists of chicken wings, necks, crushed up carcasses (as he is only a pup, but that will change to whole carcasses when he is bigger) raw meaty bones from beef, lamb, pork etc. mince, 1-2 raw eggs a week, 1-2 tins of sardines per week, im yet to feed offal as im a bit hesitant on what ive heard about hydatid (sp) but i know its very nutritional for them??
occasional scraps and i try kibble but he just wont eat any commercially processed foods what so ever.
