    Default Holistic Select

    Hey everyone!

I'd love some opinions on this brand of food!

I done some research and I actually quiet like it there are a few things i don't like about it but i know nothing is perfect!!

The two con's about this for me is the fact it has beet pulp (which i have heard can do kidney and liver damage ) and egg product (would of liked it to be whole egg)..

My dogs seem to like it a lot and it agree's with them! I used to feed Purina (bonnie) i was going to change to Science Diet (Hills) but i wasn't too much a fan of it!!

So yes, Enough blabbing on, opinions would be lovely!
    Thank you.

    It's also 19.95 for 20 kilos... bargain!!

The best for your dog is what your dog does best on. Mine thrive on supercoat and raw.

Ill secnod Di... you can spend 3 months in a lab finding whats in dog food and what will go well with your dog... but at the end of the day, your dog will not even look twice at whats "best" for it.. if they like what they eat why change it..

I was hoping for opinions on the food!
I wont go and spend $5 on coles brand dog food because they wont look twice at what's in it, I rather know what's in my dogs dry food before feeding it to them, encase there is something that doesn't agree with them etc.
I changed their dry food so they can something a little better then what they where getting!

If the first 3 ingredients listed are meat then most people on dog forums feel the food is good.

Others mix and change around for variety. I have no experience with this brand.

the premium brands do try to balance their product and they do not add as much extra crap to it, they also produce less waste, so less mess for you to cllean up!
Mind you saying that I have found a cheep food that does a good job on our bigger dogs in winter when it is added to their normal diet. Gets them nice and fat so they are confortable!

Breeding, Showing, Training and general crazy making!!!
