Went to the butcher today and bought stuff for us. I also asked if they have any bones left over (like I always do). I got a whole bag full of meaty bones (mainly ribs) for - now the best part - FREE!!! I froze it down portion wise and it is 8 portions for nada

Roo tails are great because they last a while but a warning, they stink We get ours from this place Roo Tail Dog Treat Pet Wares Plus Pet Supplies Also from this place, we buy the kanga and beef tendons as well as bully sticks. They are great, as they last fairly long too.

Pig ears are usually inhaled at our place. They only last for 2-5 minutes. And pig tails are a big no no. They are so fatty, it gave Ziggy the runs for a couple of days....

I always ask my butcher. If the owner seves me it is free, if any of his employees do it is a couple of dollars. Most I have ever paid was 8 bucks for a big packed carton. Lots of fat to trim though. I miss the days we did home kills with a traveling butcher.

Lol cool. My nan is or used to be good friends with the owners of Reno's Pet Food Deli here.. perhaps she should ask next time lol.

A dollar or 2 for a bag of bones is a great price, considering what they are at supermarkets etc.

Keeda chews up the bones. When I give her something like a chicken wing I prefer to stay there and watch her eat it to make sure she doesn't accidentally choke.

My dogs wont touch big bones, so i get my butcher to cut them in 1/4 and they will eat them.
I was at the vet yesterday and she told me to give the dogs a bone everyday.
