    I have never heard them called that and we are farmers, lol.

    Must be a WA farmers thing.. Worked at Landmark for 3 years and that all they called them

    I like it, better than saying to hubby can you get some more dog dry food when you are in town.

    dont confuse him now lol.. only jokes. even my fiance calls them dog nut after i have been saying it.. he works as a stockie for elders so he always got a couple bags in his boot for clients

    My brother calls "kibble", "dog nuts" too. He's spent a lot of time across Rural Australia from Outback South Australia across to Armadale New England NSW and Birchup in Victoria. Then again, I think Dad called them that too.

    I'd not heard the term "kibble" for dog biscuits until very recently.

    Thanks for the info on puppy food containing more protein and making them grow faster. I will be talking to my vet about this tomorrow to find out when I should start Troopa on adult food
