I don't think anyone called you crazy. If they did it must have been in private as I can find no reference to it here.

Occy knows my views on this subject. We have discussed this in the past on another forum. It would be a very boring and static world if we all agreed on everything.

I have never had a problem with red meat and my own dogs and I've owned a lot of dogs over a 50 year period. However this does not mean I disagree with Occy's conclusions. Certainly SOME dogs can be affected by red meat just as SOME dogs are gun shy or allergic to chicken or whatever. SOME does not mean ALL.

If a change in diet reduces aggression in some dogs I'm all for it. I prefer simple solutions. Try organic beef or roo. Remember commercial chicken is stuffed full of hormones and crap as well. In fact I have read that non organic chicken is one of the least healthy meats on the market.

Vellela - let us know how you go - would be interested to see if it reduces the hyperactivity in your dog.

DH - I'm pretty sure that emoticon Fedra used was the "crazy" one.

Sorry. I'm never quite sure what those little thingies mean. I do like the crocodile one.

Thank you one and all for your comments...they have certainly been interesting reading. Not sure if it is a coincidence but since stopping the lamb Ollie has been a little more settled. I have some more lamb in the freezer so may in a week or so give it another try and see what happens.....
