I know your reference was particularly at the end of the JRT paragraph, Pugger.... but.... This statement isn't just for one breed, is it?

Of course not.. there are some good dog owners out there most of the ones with "dangerous" breeds are morons though

Yah, well, I've been known to behave in less than super intelligent ways... Occasionally.

I said most dog owners of dangerous breeds.. not all you might be the exception to the rule?

I think that is a very dangerous and short sighted comment to have made.

The majority of dog owners do the right thing by their dogs. The 'morons' are the minority.

Wow that's a big call Pugger...

Hope that was a typo and you meant restricted breed and not dangerous breed, because any dog can and will attack if provoked enough and then may end up on the dangerous list by the LGA. Talking NSW here.

Yes I did a google for supportive info ...

I did mean Dangerous breeds.. it was said with tongue in cheek.
If you read back at my posts, I even mention a JRT as a dangerous breed and they are far from restricted.
A dangerous dog is dangerous because it has a moronic owner.

    *sigh*
    never mind

Not all dangerous dogs have moronic owners - quite a few have responsible, kind, caring owners. Some are ex police or military working dogs.

There is no one package that they all fall into.

I appreciate that it's tongue in cheek, but that's a dangerous thing in itself for this topic....

Yes there should be a lot harsher penalties for humans who mistreat dogs and allow them to become dangerous to the public.
I understand he is only one man but we can learn so much from him. Like I said he's proven that it can be done, nothing's impossible.
