    Default Pitbull in Queensland

    Hi,

I live in Darwin. My husband & I are looking at adopting a Pitbull (got her for a week to trial with my dog atm). The NT doesn't have BSL. However, we'll eventually be moving to QLD. I've emailed the Moreton Bay/Redcliffe council & I've been told how to get a permit for her ($200 per year).

Does anyone else have experience with having a restricted dog? I just don't know if it'll be fair on her to bring her to QLD with all the restrictions if we adopt her.

    Cheers.

We have two members, ChoppaChop and Keira&Phoenix who both own Pits in QLD, hopefully they'll be around(or even anyone else with knowledge in this) and can give you some info. You can also try sending a personal message too either of the two.

Thank you. I'll try to track them down.

I had a pitbull x growing up in Brissy & we passed her off as a lab x! No way I can get away doing that with this dog!
