    Default Purchasing from Interstate

Is there laws or any legislation regarding purchasing a pup from another state?
I live in Victoria and I may purchase a pup from NSW.
    Thanks

No laws restricting apart from dogs on the BSL eg pitbull.

It is harder to do your research. I like to meet the dog first and see if it likes me or is willing to pay attention to me. But I know someone who got a dog from interstate via pet rescue and was delighted with it, everything exactly as promised.

Yes I think it is better to meet the dog. The one that I got from interstate is a lovely dog but she didnt really suit what I wanted her for, despite long conversations with the breeder detailing what I was looking for. She ended up the complete opposite, I knew it within the first few weeks of owning her, but I still love her.
