No Jeeeeeep EEK, hope you guys will be OK LOL LOL LOL.........

All wild life should be respected. At least you can see Dingoes, i worry more about snakes and they are everywhere. The Dingo problems are really quite low. more regular dog attacks. i would be more worried about the weird people that are about nowadays.

Enjoy enjoy, enjoy.....LOL fancy no Jeep in the party

I spent many hours (weeks) watching Dingoes at both Fraser Island and in the NT.....I find them interesting and not as social as a pack as compared to the wolf...very different. I would love to go again. But I would wast too many hours just watching

Accommodation is pretty expensive too :/ Would be alright if Ray wanted to go with a group as we could get a house, but he just wants the two of us. Lol I am not a fan of camping.

I love camping, but I'd be bitching too if I didn't have my mattress. Fragile bones...

I was pretty disappointed on our recent trip to QLD that we couldn't go to any of those National Parks there because you needed a 4WD. And our massive motorhome was far from that, even though we did end up taking it onto some pretty dodgy dirt roads.

I try not to feed wildlife... Though once went camping at a NP near here and 5 mins after we arrived a wallaby ran of with our loaf of bread and that night a possum stole a block of chocolate from under my chair. Cheeky buggers. My daughter loved them being so tame, but I prefer my wildlife wild and preferably a bit more at a distance.

I'm off to Fraser soon for a boys only weekend with my two boys and there cousins and a few mates, can't wait.

Where all keen fisherman and 4x4 people who luv a good camping trip.

The poor dingoes on Fraser are starving to death there is very little food for them unless a dead whale or fish etc washes up on the beach for them to eat.
Last time they got into our bait and ate the lot but I don't blame them because there hungry and have nothing else to eat so they steal to survive and you can't blame them for that.

    You don't own a real 4x4 unless it's a Mitsubishi Pajero...................................flame suit on lol.

Enjoy your time on Fraser and take care.

The only 4WD you will get spare bits for at Wattaru or on the Gibb River road - is a Tojo. The rest are considered "disposable".

Including your bitsRmissin Poojairo. Mind you - I do know one of these that made it along the gunbarrel corrugations special shake shake suspension busting highway. Twice even.

Camping has been a lot nicer since I ditched the rubber lilo for a caribee self inflating non-slip mattress. Bliss.
