The pups are looking great Liss....Very healthy looking with cute chubby bellies.

I certainly don't miss the mess involved with having a litter. As they get older they will learn to be a little cleaner while eating, but they will also start pooing & weeing alot more. I hope you have a stock pile of newspaper, as you will find you will be constantly cleaning up soiled paper, especially with such a large litter.

It would also be a good idea, to set up a puppy exercise area outside when they are a little older, where the pups can spend some of the day outside when the weather is good, get fresh air, run around & play & learn to poo & wee on grass. I also used to give my pups their lunch outside too. It will also give you a little break during the day from constantly cleaning their indoor puppy pen.
My pups loved going outside, & always came back in satisfied & tired out, & then had a nice long sleep.

Thanks Liss, she had 9, which is a very large litter for the breed, she had 8 with her 1st litter too.....we where so blessed all where born strong & healthy & all survived from both litters. Brandy is such a fantastic mum too, but we won't be breeding from her again until next year, she has earned herself a big rest.
We hopefully will be buying another bitch puppy to join my pack this year from another breeder though.

Looking foward to seeing more pics of your babies, especially when they finally get some outside time. I hope Tips is feeling better too.

Just to give you an idea....with our outdoor pen we just joined 2 puppy play pens together, & then made an entry with chicken wire & 2 star pickets.....high enough for the puppies not to get out, but low enough for us to step over to get in.

You will probably have to make yours a little bigger, since your puppies will be bigger than mine, but it gives you an idea any way.
