I'm so relieved to hear that Tips is finally on the mend. The pups sound like poo factories... No fun when they are crawling all over each other and crapping everywhere!

She was on oxytocin drip before c section for 12 hours to produce 3 pups and that was included in that cost tho

We knew that cost was coming if she didnt have all pups with the oxytocin and after 2 days of labour to produce 6 pups she still had 6 pups left inside her either we come up with the money or put her down
Then the surgery yesterday for a hysterectomy cause her utarus was badly infected from such a long labour was $1200
And thats not taking into account all the time and money spent hand feeding pups cause she couldnt at times its been a long two weeks!!
I dont mean to offend you in any way but you are a registerd breeder yes?
Surely you have done your research on breeding/welping and are well aware of all that can go wrong?
We are very lucky to still have our girl with us and the 9 pups left ,the mating part of dogs is the easy part its after that you have to be prepared for all the CAN go wrong we didnt know this before we decided to mate our bitch but i can assure you we know now!!!

So glad to hear she is doing well now.
Lots of horrible things happening in this thread but hopefully it will benefit some future readers. I will admit, my thoughts on her being bred were not pleasant ones at first, but you have certainly shown how much you love Tips and you really care for her.

I love that second pic, how cuuuute! It reminds me of my old dog who helped bring up her JRTx friend's pups and occasionally had one fall asleep on her back while she was snoozing on the couch.

They sure are the golden pups. Cost you about $1000 each, by now?
