Thanks for the update. And I'm crossing everything that the operation will go well and Tips will be back to her usual self very soon.

And it is sad that you have to deal with these money issues on top of the emotional stress this has been causing you. You have been absolutely wonderful in how you have gone out of your way to ensure the health of Tips and her pups no matter what. Your dogs are very lucky to have someone love them so much.

Do you have a Paypal account or something Liss where we can donate a few dollars to help you out?

    Thank you Beloz
I had one person today a friend of mine ask me today is she really worth it Liss?
I can honostly say i wanted to slap her.....
But instead i stayed calm and said if you have to ask me that then you really have no idea on how it feels to love a pet and to feel that same love back to you daily from them, and you know what shes not just a pet shes family and you can not put a price on that!!Our sons are 6,3 and 1 we got tips when our eldest was just 6 months old they have grown up together with her she not just any dog!!And if this is what it takes to keep her here with us then so be it.....You cant put a price on love and it really is as simple as that and i truly do feel sorry for you that you are yet to experience that!!

There is also another reason one i feel very strongly about and one i brought back up to my husband this morning when we were trying to sort money out....I feel like we owe her we really do...
abit over a year ago when our middle son sam was 2 and our youngest son harry was a month old we were having the huge rainfall here in brisbane and one day i was inside feeding harry and sam went out the back door onto our uncovered area to play i could hear him out there talking and playing with tips anyhow abit of time passed i finished feeding harry and put him to sleep in the cot and made my way outside to check sam as i couldnt hear him playing anymore i went out and neither sam or tips were anywhere in the back yard at this stage it is pooring down rain so im yelling out to sam in the back yard and hes not answering me and im thinking where is tips she hates the rain and hates to get wet im really starting to panick and shake now so i make my way round the front and now im screaming sams name then i see it our front gate open and a plastic chair sitting next to where it opens sam has climbed up and unlatched our gate now im freaking out i cant see him on our street and the rain is just pouring down, then i see tips come flying up our street and she comes straight to me she panting like crazy and im thinking where the **** is sam,she then turns away and off she runs down our street i chase after her not really thinking about what im doing, she turns at the end of our street then turns into another street and races to almost the end of it and there in the gutter i see sam hes sitting in the water thats gushing down the gutter just playing having no idea of the danger he was in i pick him up crying and hes been sitting about a metre away from one of those huge big drain openings in the gutter where all the water runs to hes 2 and would have fitted down there easily omg i hate to think what could have happened to him ive never really told anyone about this and what happened just thought alot of people would think its a load of crap but im so gratful shes so close to my boys and that she followed him that day and came home to get me its something i think about often

Surgery went well Vet said the uterus was totally infected and the cervix is clear of infection which he was worried that it may have spread to the cervix so all good news this arvo she is staying in overnight to remain on fluids/antibiotics and should be able to come home tomorrow if all keeps going well, pups are all feeding from bottle well and are very content

Not sure ill ask this morning

Well what a night 5 out of the 9 pups are now fussing on the bottle and not drinking properly and i dont know why ive tried different teats and they still refuse so im using a syringe and getting what i can into them,i now remember why i never bottle fed any of my babies lots of stuffing around and no matter what you do all they want is mum
its alot harder now than when they were younger they are now pooing and weeing by themself you would think this would make it easier but not when they do it all over each other!!
You dont realise how much of an amazing job mum does of cleaning up until shes not here and its up to you to do it!!
