Yesterday these pups were drinking two 140mls bottles between the 10 of them each feed they didn't drink much from the bottles I offered today and I just done another top up feed and between the 10 of them they only drank 60ml I think milk has come in!!! Let's hope things are starting to get better think we have had our fair share of crap already

Vet put some more staples in and covered wound he said she's doing great and her milk has came in glad she's doing well, got to see our vet today he was pleased to see her doing well, asked bout oxytocin injections natty he said they normally would at this stage if it had been normal birth but after c section it puts too much pressure on would and could do more damage than good

Phew again! Glad things are looking up.

Now you can hopefully have a bit of a breather.

And then post some more pics asap!

You really do need to make a whelping box. It is amazing just how far pups can get when they start to be mobile.
My husband made me one. A 3 sided hinged (it went against the wall in our room) enclosure that the mother can step out of but the pups stay in.
Please make sure you have a flat surface for now for them. I used a hession covered foam mat covered by a throwover or sheet.

Any posts made under the name of Di_dee1 one can be used by anyone as I do not give a rats.

Yeh well I'm doing the best I can sorry I don't have lots of free spare time at the moment to go make a welping box as I'm still hand feeding theses guys too she was on a flat surface on tiles covered by mats but a pup got under her and died... So they are now on a spare old mattress in our only airconed room in the house it's stinking hot here....
