Well the unexpected has happened yet again, vet has kept tips in she's now on fluids cause she's dehydrated, I noticed she was drinking lots and weeing heaps, but just thought she recovering from everything, I told my vet this and he checked her right over found mouth ulcers on her tongue said straight away she has to stay and he is running bloods now we will know more the arvo the short list he gave me,
Kidney failure ( ulcers in mouth is a sign)
Infection Of some kind but she's on antibiotics

I am so sorry that this has turned into such a nightmare, Liss. I hope whatever is wrong with the mother will be easily treated and that she will be able to come home to her pups very, very soon. Good luck with being surrogate mother in the meantime. And accept any help you can get because you must be absolutely exhausted by now.

She's coming home it's a Metritis infection in the uterus, vet said all bloods came back clear and her kidneys r fine but he said this infection causes bitches to have no milk
She's had fluid and injections of antibiotics and I'm taking more home
