How you going with the pups?
It's been 2 hours now cause pups r due for feed again they r feeding fine for now
Quick question the pups are still all asleep and nice and warm but the r due to be fed do we wake them? Before this they were waking when due
they will wake when they are hungry usually, but don't let them go too long.
They won't always wake when they are hungry.
When they are kept warm, and their mother is not there to stimulate them, they can and will oversleep. This will become a vicious cycle of getting weaker, sleeping longer, getting weaker.
If it is two hours, they need to feed.
The other thing I was just going to mention, is that the vet will put off a spey if they can, as it is a longer, more involved surgery. Plus, the uterus at this time is subject of a massive blood supply. If they can leave a spey until the uterus has returned to normal slightly it is much, much, much safer to do it then.
A long labour and c section is a huge amount of trauma and large shock to the system. Compounding it with a potential big blood loss is what the vet is trying to avoid.
I woke and fed them they r having about 5ml each I hope that's enough
You should call the vet and ask.
If you were doing this under the guidance of a breeder of this particular breed, then all your questions would be answered.
Do you know how much they weigh Liss?
