Smile Price of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Hi! I'm just wondering what's the average price for a cavalier king charles spaniel puppy. I live in Perth, if the pup needs to be transported from other states, what would the approx additional cost?

Around $1,000 for a pet, more for a show dog. That is just a ballpark figure, some breeders may be $500, others might be $1,500 for pets, it really comes down to the individual breeder.

Cost of transport will not be too excessive for a small puppy, you would be looking at a couple of hundred.
I had a 2kg pup transported from Vic to Tas for $200, crate included, expect a little more than that to Perth. Contact Jetpets for a quote, I would recommend them for any pet transport.

Thanks! I've been having trouble finding a suitable breeder here in Perth for some queries, do you have any suggestions where I can get a list of cavalier breeders?

I would check out those breeders with other sources than their own websites - not all breeders listed there are "responsible". Some are, some are not, same with the ones listed with ANKC and dogsWest. But it's a starting point.

I think it is also a good idea to get out to some dog shows with the breed you like and meet the breeders face to face. Avoid the ones that spend the whole time bitching about other breeders and not talking about what they do. And you can find them through Dogs West - Best of Friends
Click on events and "what's on" (at the bottom of the events list).

And most breeders will be a bit put off if the only thing you care about is the price. It's like showing up to a job interview and the first and only question you ask is "how much will you pay me".
