    Default Selling Puppies... Need Some Advice Pleasssse =)

    Hi everyone,

    So I have been flat out with Cleo and her 8 beautiful pups. They're now 3 weeks old, have their eyes open, walking around, teeth on the verge of erupting, and they're developing cute little puppy mannerisms =D

    I have just listed them for sale online, and I am wondering about letting people view the pups before their vaccinations??
    Especially if they already own a dog, or are around other dogs.....

    Is show and tell of the pups okay to do at their young age??? How should I go about this....

    Thanks =)

    Hi,

    Where are the pictures??

    Maybe wait until they are at least 4 weeks old. I know some breeders are happy to do that (my trainers will be viewing their new Cav pup at 4 weeks and they have a 7 yo Cav at home). Then maybe have detergent/water filled containers for people to wash their hands and feet before entering your house/property. Or ask them to remove their shoes. Also ask them if they could wear clean clothes that they haven't been interacting with their dogs/cats etc in. And I would say most breeders don't allow them to actually interact with the puppies just to view them. So maybe just to look at them from outside of their room/holding pen or wherever you are keeping them, that way their living area is kept sanitary.

    Thanks heaps =) I was thinking something along those lines but thought I'd check whether it was a good idea at all before 6 weeks.

    AND I am putting more pics up today! =D They've grown heaps. I posted a few photos when they were first born.

    Do you know of any websites I can advertise them on???

    Not Gumtree though, I tried that one and it won't let me post them because they're so young... even though it is stated they aren't available until at least the 10th of April....

    I want to have buyers for them soon so they can be homed at 8-9 weeks. I don't want to be trying to sell them when they're ready to go...
