    Definately purebred.

So sorry, I must have missed it. How did Cleo get into your hands?

That's okay. We found her online... we were looking to adopt a dog and were looking on pet rescue sites and found gumtree.com

That's where we found her =)

The owners dropped her off the following week.

Ohhhhhhhh, and she was purposely bred by the previous owners?
Why were they selling her if she was so far into her pregnancy?

I have no idea why they gave her away! That definitely is what they were doing, he even admitted to me when he was asking for a couple pups the other day, that they had tried to previously breed her with a doberman!
And that a staffy accidently got stuck to her at one stage too, but she never got pregnant off them.

    That's why they got Chester.

She was riddled with fleas when they brought her to us. They said their new house had a flea infestation and they couldn't keep her there. And they had the nerve to ask for pups...
A male and female none the less... one guess why...

Well not to breed as they are brother & sister more likely to sell on I'd say.
Yes he looks pure enough although many piggers put a little bull arab in & rebred to the pointers & he is a tad long in the leg(so may have a touch of Bull Arab). I doubt with the bitch being pure that it would affect the pups looks but the white based pups make sence if there is some bull arab back a few generations.
Be very carteful selling pups as this is a hunting breed & piggers love them, the origanal Bull Arab was breed on Pointer, Bull Terrier & other breeds.

But sibling matings would not give many viable pups would it??? I mean it's far closer than father daughter because each dog has same genitic make up.
Thats relly sick thing to do & they'd be idots(I guess we already knew that) to do it(if that is the case) as I can not begin to imagine the problems the pups could/would have.
God know you guy really have me worried as I thought any idot would know better than that but you guys are probley right.

Yeah seriously, I wouldn't put it passed them to breed siblings... if you had heard the conversations I've had with them and what they've said... If they just wanted to sell them, I doubt they'd care what sex the pups were. They made it clear they wanted two of opposite sex.

I thought his legs looked long as well, I agree. But in a lot of the photos he's very blurred, like he's moving around a lot.
And just by looking at photos of him, he looks very puppy like to me... could he be in his gangly puppy stage??
I could be very wrong... but it was my first impression when I looked at the photos.

I am going to ask them how old he is next time I am in contact with them.
